Young Flying Group is a syndicate operating a Cessna 172 at Young Aerodrome (YYNG) in New South Wales.

The group has been operating for 37 years and new members are welcome.

The aircraft is well equipped with the following features:

  • 180 horsepower engine upgrade
  • Garmin GNS 430W GPS
  • S-Tec System 50 Autopilot (coupled to GPS)
  • Mode S Transponder with ADS-B Out
  • Cessna 100 Series Supplemental Inspection Documents (SIDS) compliant

The weight and balance and take-off and landing performance of KMH has changed due to the upgrade of the engine from 160hp to 180hp with the Penn Yann SA703GL Supplmentary Type Certificate (STC).
